2025 年東亞性別平等論壇深入探討區域內相互交織的多重挑戰,包括少子化、人口高齡化,以及職場期待轉變。隨著傳統上多仰賴女性承擔的照護模式逐漸難以為繼,論壇進一步探討如何透過建構具包容性的公共制度、推動公平的職場政策,以及促進照護責任的共同分擔,以推動性別平等。

The 2025 East Asia Gender Equality Forum addressed the intertwined challenges of declining birth rates, population aging, and shifting workplace expectations across the region. As traditional caregiving models — often dependent on women — had become unsustainable, the forum examined how inclusive public systems, equitable workplace policies, and shared caregiving responsibilities could advance gender equality.
Discussions explored diverse needs in employment and care, the rights and conditions of paid care workers, and strategies for building gender-equal, family-friendly workplaces. By fostering regional dialogue, sharing innovative practices, and promoting cross-sector collaboration, the forum aimed to create societies where all individuals could pursue both a care and career, ensuring collective well-being and self-realization for everyone.
